Gor Mahia’s Coach Nuttal Leaves for Egypt’s Zamalek FC

Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC’s coach Scotsman Frank Nuttall, has called it quits and instead opted to join Egyptian giants Zamalek as an assistant coach to former Aston Villa and compatriot Alex McLeish.

Zamalek FC, which is one of Africa’s top teams has been on a restructuring process. Just recently, it signed former English Premier League coach, McLeish who has headed teams like Aston Villa, Birmingham among others.

Since joining ‘Kogallo’’ in September 2014, Frank Nuttal has seen the team scoop two Kenya Premier League titles, Kenyan Super Cup 2015 title and KPL Top 8 Cup 2015 title. The 46-year old has previously coached various teams across the United Kingdom, China and Qatar. He was crowned Coach of the Year 2015 at the KPL Awards.
