The much awaited concert by Jamaican reggae star Chronixx went down on Saturday at the KICC grounds in Nairobi.
Thousands of reggae fans turned up to enjoy some good vibes from the 23-year-old singer. Backed by the Zinc Fence Redemption band, Chronixx belted hit after hit of his most popular tracks.
For slightly over two hours, he performed to songs like Here Comes Trouble, Ain’t No Giving In, Ghetto People, Roots And Chalice, Smile Jamaica, Access Granted, Most I and Play Some Roots .
The show was part of his ongoing Roots And Chalice world tour, aiming at popularising his latest 26-track mix tape of the same title.
Among those representing the Kenyan Reggae scene at the event were ZJ Heno & Empire Sounds, Kriss Darlin & Dohty Family, Muzikal Sheriff & Ras Style, Fyah Mummah Jahmby & Selector Technics, DJs Bling, Double Trouble and MC Phillipo.
