The much awaited new Gor Mahia’s Brazillian coach Jose Marcelo will arrive on Monday 14th March next week and not Friday 11th March as was earlier communicated.
Gor Mahia’s acting Secretary General confirmed the matter saying the Coach had had other things pending in Brazil and has to take care of them before leaving for Kenya.
“He requested so to enable him sort some issues because the travelling came so abrupt,” said Ngala.
The new Gor Mahia’s Brazillian coach, Marcello was to be unveiled as the new coach before Saturday’s match against City Stars but the mission is at the moment posponed thus the changes.
Marcelo is replacing Coach Frank Nuttal who presented his resignation to the Club’s Chair on Tuesday.
Meanwhile gor Mahia’s assistant Coach Frank Ouna stays in charge of the team.
“He will thus have to reschedule his flight and change tickets. He will be flying over on Monday but I cannot confirm his arrival time until he is through with the rescheduling. Basically, coach Ouna will stay in charge of the team for the time being,” he said.
