Well known in the Schools and Colleges Drama festival as a top act since her school days at Arap Moi Girls’ Kakamega,Nancy Naliaka Sirengo will remain to be remembered forever. Her contribution to the growth of the Drama team of United States International University (USIU) will be greatly missed too. She passed on yesterday June 6 while undergoing a Caesarean Section at an Eldoret Hospital.
“Nancy drove herself to an Eldoret Hospital on Saturday. She was due for delivery. She checked herself in and she was advised by doctors to undergo a Caesarean Section. They did that at around 3pm on Saturday. She delivered her baby boy named Baraka. Afterwards, we were told she developed complications and began to bleed profusely. The sad news of her demise was then broken to us.”” Nancy Sirengo’s brother said.
Nancy Sirengo had moved to Eldoret as an Assistant Business Development Manager in the North Rift Region for Unilever and had just been promoted a week ago to the new position as reports say.
Nancy’s burial will take place in Sihendu village in Kitale on Saturday.
We would to pass our sincere condolences from Mseto Family for the loss of such big talent in the East African entertainment industry to the family, relatives and friends of Nancy Sirengo .
