Victor Wanyama Confirms Southampton Exit: Midfielder set for £11m Tottenham Switch

The Daily Mirror claimed this week Kenyan Midfielder WANYAMA had agreed an £11million move to Tottenham, with a medical to be sorted out in the coming days.
This proposed move will see him link up again with Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane as they look to have beaten Premier League champions Leicester to his signature.
The Kenya international rejected a new deal at Southampton and is said to be keen for a new challenge. And Wanyama has now all-but confirmed he will be leaving St Mary’s after admitting he ‘will miss the awesome Southampton fans’, hinting that a move to Spurs is on the verge of being done. “It’s always a tough moment leaving a club that you are so much used to their tradition and fans but again it’s always the dream of any footballer to play at the very top level like Champions League,” Wanyama told Kenyan website #Soka25east .
“I will definitely miss the awesome Southampton fans who always showed me love and I know they will fully understand my decision. “Wanyama has made 97 appearances for Saints in all competitions in his three seasons on the south coast, scoring four goals and receiving three red cards – all of which were last season.
